活動主要讓本所學生發表個人完成的單篇論文或尚在進行的研究或構想，並與評論人和聽眾有充份交流。
The symposium provides a forum for graduate students at the Institute of Social Research and Cultural Studies (SRCS), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), to present their research papers or work-in-progress and have in-depth dialogues with panel discussants and participants of the symposium.
